Gladys P. (Pomeroy) Anderson (b. 1888) was an amateur bryologist and curator of the lichen collection of the Sullivant Moss Society during 1934-1935. Under her care, the collection was placed with the New York Botanical Garden. She was born in Newark, N.J. and attended N.J. State Normal School, Columbia Teachers College and graduated with a B.S. from Columbia University. From 1917-1919 she was a student and assistant in Botany at McGill University.
